Ian A. Pesetsky, Esq. has over 20 years litigation experience. Mr. Pesetsky has been trying criminal and civil cases in Maryland State and Federal Courts handling all types of civil cases, to include personal injury and civil defense and all types of criminal and traffic cases, to include assaults, DUIs, drug misdemeanors and felonies, theft, burglary, fraud, speeding, sex offenses and other charges. He also handles Administrative Law Hearings.
Ian was born in the Bronx, New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.A. in Public Justice and a minor in Forensic Science and Political Science. Mr. Pesetsky then attending the University of Baltimore School of Law where he received his J.D.
Upon graduation from law school, Ian clerked for the Honorable E. Allen Shepherd, Associate Judge for the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He then became an Assistant State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County for over 7 years where he tried numerous cases in the District and Circuit Courts. Ian then went into private practice and had his own law firm. After a brief stint with the Attorney General’s Office then as General Counsel for Exceptional Software Strategies, Inc., he is again back in the private practice of law.
Ian lives in Calvert County with his wife Mary and 4 children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, officiating lacrosse, visiting his 2 children in college and watching his children play lacrosse. He also sees clients in Prince Frederick at the Vallario Building on Main Street, as well as in La Plata at the Jenkins Law Firm.
